We’re Yina and Scott
a British-Chinese family raising our children in two languages, two cultures, and one very intentional home.
Amphibians don’t just survive in different environments — they’re built for them. That’s what we want for our children. Not children who cope with change, but children who move between worlds with ease, confidence, and a sense of belonging wherever they land.
We’ll be sharing the real journey — what works, what doesn’t, and why we believe that raising children who speak two languages is about so much more than language. We aim to provide: – Honest conversations about bilingual parenting – Practical approaches to raising children in Chinese and English – Reflections on culture, identity, and what it means to belong to more than one world ~ And as we grow — wider conversations about raising children who are truly ready for the future We are amphibians ourselves. And we’re learning as we go.
我们是中英家庭,正在用两种语言、两种文化养育我们的3个“两栖孩子”。
